Back from BKK
pc crashed, left with one now so hardly get to update since it's nv my turn to use. well...enjoying the remaining of the hols...tuning myself back to reality and facing work soon...yes...u've heard me right...w..o..r..k
25 Dec - attended joycelyn's wedding. we were invited for lunch. then Kathryn and I shared a cab to the west. She to her dad's place and me to john's place. mummy called to go ikea when i was abt to reach john's place. how??? so i told mummy i'll be back for ikea then go back to john's place for dinner. but mummy said we could shop at ikea some other time. so i got to stay at john's place. hee...i received a present from him. wasnt expecting it from him cos we've just came back fr bkk and we spent quite "a bit" there. nonetheless, i've a nice present...thanks dear
24 Dec - attended service at john's grandmother's church then off to have lunch tog at expo. his relatives and cousins were there too. wow!!! hmmm...i was having butterflies in my stomach then. off to ikea at tampines since it was john's first visit there. dinner was at delifrance before watching "the holiday"...a gd movie to watch while counting dwn to christmas
21 Dec - back in sch for sec 1 posting. watched "curse of the golden flowers". watch if u've got spare cash. played badminton with john for abt 20 min before fetching mum fr work n bro for tuition. then off for sushi.
16 - 20 dec (bkk)
Encountered some "rough waves" on the first two days after which it became calm. John sponsored the shopping trip. Muacks...bought many items, among them were skirt, dresses, shirts, shorts, stationery, bags, slippers, ear-rings and clips. He bought shirts, t-shirts and jeans. Oh yah and some bowls too. The hotel which Sarah recommended was simly excellent. The location was good for it was near major shopping malls. There's also BTS (MRT) nearby. For the first two days, we took the BTS only to realise that most shopping malls were within walking distance (10 - 15min). I set my foot on the places which my friends recommended: Chatuchak, Suam Lum night mkt, shopping malls at Siam, MBK and Chinatown but above all my fav is Platinum Fashion Mall. 6 levels - all of which are small shops lk the ones we see at bugis. Good bargain and great buy. Perhaps it's my first time there so I found it interesting.

went for 2nd rnd of mng sale with sarah. buy and eat, buy and eat (fig it out in chinese cos simply dunno how to switch to chinese). took many photos too...had a great time. it was lk so long ago when we went out to shop tog at orchard. looking forward to more!
